Ann Arbor made public fairy doors famous in 2005 when the first-ever fairy door was spotted outside Sweetwaters Coffee and Tea on Washington Street downtown. During the past 10 years, dozens of doors have popped up around the city – including two at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital.
This year, fairy doors will spread their whimsy to our Main House in a unique art installation entitled, Doors of Hope. The installation, which will feature 100 custom-created fairy doors, is meant to symbolize the hope we offer to those who enter our doors each day. Funds raised through Doors of Hope will be used to support the renovation of our Main House. You can help build the first-ever RMHC-AA fairy colony and support our families by reserving your door today!
