LISTEN: Michigan Medicine News Break Podcast with RMHC Ann Arbor ED Kim Kelly

Imagine your child becomes extremely ill and needs critical care at an Ann Arbor hospital for an extended period of time. Having a place for families to stay nearby where they can get some sleep, take a shower and enjoy a hot meal is key.

Enter the Ronald McDonald House Charities Ann Arbor, a place of refuge for families whose children are receiving medical care at local area hospitals. Since opening in 1985 across the street from C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital next to the Arboretum, more than 30,500 families have stayed at the chapter, coming from numerous states across the country and countries around the world.

Recently, Executive Director of RMHCAA Kim Kelly sat down with Joe Hallisy of Michigan Medicine News Break, your daily destination for news and stories about the future of healthcare. They were able to talk more about what exactly she does, and what RMHCAA is all about. Listen above!
