Mott House

On the 10th floor of C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital

Ronald McDonald House Charities Ann Arbor has two Houses with a combined total of 43 rooms making it the largest Ronald McDonald House Charity Chapter in Michigan.  Both Houses provide a supportive home away from home for families of children 21 years of age and younger who are hospitalized.

The Mott House is located on the 10th floor of C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and offers parents a quiet haven to rest, just steps away from their child’s bedside.  The 12 bedrooms with private bathrooms are available for adult caregivers of patients being treated in one of the intensive care units.

Bedrooms at the Mott House have one twin bed and a sleep chair, a private bathroom with a shower, and can accommodate 1-2 adults.  To help ensure a peaceful environment, siblings and visitors are not allowed in the Mott House.

The House features a sitting area and a kitchenette stocked with snacks and heat-and-eat foods, as well as a Keurig for coffee and hot drinks.  Meals are provided a few nights or week or can be ordered and delivered through the hospital’s food service.
