This Father’s Day, we’re honoring dads like Corey—fathers who face the unimaginable and still find a way to be there, every day, for their children.

Just days after Corey’s son Theo was born, he was diagnosed with a rare, life-threatening condition. What followed were months in the hospital, emergency surgeries—including a liver transplant—and moments when hope felt distant.

But Corey and his wife Elizabeth didn’t face it alone. Because of people like you, Ronald McDonald House Charities Ann Arbor gave them a place to rest, regroup, and find moments of peace in the chaos.

“During the darkest time in our lives,” Corey said, “the House was our little light.”
